What is the difference between a leather messenger bag and a computer leather messenger bag?

I miss a black leather messenger bag but see this is a messenger bag/computer bag. Is there anything wrong with carrying property that is not a computer in this bag?

Computer bags mainly have extra padding to keep the computer from getting damaged.But there would be nothing wrong with having one for other squash.

Where in London can I get unquestionably nice, modern, smart yet casual black leather MENS page bag???

My budget is £300. I am not looking for something which is formal (i.e. Dunhill) nor do I after something which is quite dull (i.e. just your “standard” leather messenger-boy bag).

Places like Selfridges and Harvey Nicks are charming useless when it comes to mens bags like this..

I don’t want anything “gummy” as well, so please don’t say Gap, etc.

I necessity to know what is a good black leather messenger bag to get? I want something where i can put my spirit in it while I am out. I am 22 and still in college so I need a bag to carry my stuff. I do not occupation but go to school

I don't want to spend a lot of cash on it. I saw a messenger bag on ebay and it says its a herald bag/ laptop bag. Are those fine?

Severe bag and glove situation, especially with the bag?

I am after a rigorous casual leather MENS messenger/record bag but cant seem to find one anywhere.

Everything on-line is either boring, beastly or tacky or a combination of the three and going into the following shops in London:

Harvey Nicks
Selfridges
Harrods
Doors (mb jas)

Has been abortive. The three department stores above only seem to have the "rhetoric" leather bag - strap with front lip, purloin on the back. Very frickin boring. Plus there seems to be loads of sale fabric and not very much decent stock.

And after hearing good things about MB Jas bags, the department store in London was balls, its tiny with only 1 type of mens messenger bag.

So, can anyone persuade a place in London or online where i can get a really nice mens lether Mercury bag? Budget of £300 max.
