What is the difference between a leather messenger bag and a computer leather messenger bag?

I craving a black leather messenger bag but see this is a messenger bag/computer bag. Is there anything wrong with carrying stuff that is not a computer in this bag?

Computer bags on the whole have extra padding to keep the computer from getting damaged.But there would be nothing wrong with having one for other equipment.
